About SurfItalia
The reference platform for surfing in Italy — in English and Italian.
Italy has real waves. What it has never had is one trustworthy, structured place to find them: most information lives in scattered forum posts, Instagram clips and out-of-date blog articles, almost all of it in a single language.
SurfItalia is a database first. Every break carries the same fields — swell window, wind, tide, difficulty, hazards, access, parking, crowd — so you can actually compare spots and plan a trip around a forecast instead of a guess.
The platform is bilingual from the ground up. English is the primary language for visiting surfers from the UK, Northern Europe, the US and Australia; Italian is written properly for the domestic scene, not machine-translated.
Know a break we've missed?
Local knowledge is what makes a surf guide worth reading. Contributions, corrections and photography from Italian surfers are welcome as the platform grows.
